Here’s to Finishing May Strong

May is half over. Instead of making a weekly goal, I’d like to lump everything into a half month sprint to the end. I have a handful of goals, and I hope to accomplish them this month.

Last week, I was not as productive as I would have liked. This week and next, I intend to do better.

  1. Reach 200 followers. I reached 100 followers on April 22 and promptly applied for the Partner Program. 100 was my first short term goal, but the sky’s the limit when it comes to followers, no?
  2. Start my travel blog. I got into traveling two years ago. I’ve only traveled domestically, and to be honest, I have no desire to travel internationally in the near future. I convinced myself that no one wants to read about boring stateside travel. Surely though, I can’t be the only one? I’m going to do it anyway.
  3. Finish chapters 2 and 3 of the nutrition specialist program. I became a certified Group Fitness Instructor through Ace Fitness in 2019. To maintain my certification, I have to complete 2.0 credits of continuing education (and CPR recertification) every two years. Instead of taking multiple courses on various topics, I’ve decided to become a nutrition specialist. Ideally, I’d like to finish the specialist program well before November when my certification will otherwise expire.
  4. Finish reading The Personal Librarian. We all know that reading makes us better writers. Balancing the two has been difficult for me. I’ve been reading The Personal Librarian for weeks now. It’s time to wrap this book up and move on to the next.

That sums it up. If I can complete these four goals, I will have an even better foundation for next month!
